There is a great walking track going the whole way around the island, a new road connecting the North and South sides of the island, a castle to be discovered and hundreds of beautiful beaches to enjoy.

Oban Cycles hire out bikes and e-Bikes which is a fantastic way to explore Kerrera. With a road now connecting the North and South, you can easily get to our marina from the Calmac ferry on your bike or on foot.
With two farm shops, a tea garden and our very own Waypoint at The Marina, there are plenty of opportunities to sample some of the island’s wonderful produce.

Sea eagles, golden eagles, deer, dolphins, otters, seals – there have even been whales spotted off the coastline – kerrera has an abundance of wildlife that regularly put on a show – we have almost become complacent about seeing them!
Bring binoculars, follow our tips and enjoy the show for yourself.
Once you’ve had your fill of the calm and tranquility on the island, why not visit the mainland for the day and see what Oban and its surroundings have to offer.
Take the Kerrera Marina Water Taxi or the Calmac ferry and you’ll be in Oban in 10 minutes!
