Spring is in the air, and the team at Kerrera Marina is gearing up for another fantastic season! We’ve had a much-needed winter break, but the boatyard has been buzzing with activity, and there are plenty of updates to share.
A Brilliant Start to the Year
We kicked off 2025 in style with an unforgettable New Year’s Party – a huge thank you to Raised by Clams for an amazing set that kept everyone dancing into the wee hours!
The team took a well-earned breather over Christmas and January, but since then, it’s been all hands on deck in the boatyard, tackling the to-do list. The break was fantastic, but we’re excited to be back and getting ready for the season ahead.
Marina & Waypoint Updates
📍 New Office Space – We’ve upgraded to a posh new office with actual desk space, which means we might finally stay on top of the admin (fingers crossed).
📍 New Carpet in the Waypoint – The humble task of replacing the carpet quickly evolved into a full-blown discussion about lights, storage, and everything else. As usual, things escalated, but the end result looks fantastic. Resident carpet inspector Squeak has given it the official seal of approval, so we’re all set!
📍 Brig Converted to Summer Reception – Our trusty Brig is transforming into our summer reception and shop this April, making it even easier for you to pop by, grab essentials, and check in.
📍 Kitchen Reopening! – The Waypoint Kitchen will be fully up and running from 28th March, serving up delicious food once again. If you need anything before then, just give us a shout!
Burns Night & Adventures Abroad
February might not be the traditional time for a Burns Supper, but we like to do things our own way. Our (slightly late) Burns Night on 14th February was a brilliant evening of good food, poetry, and plenty of laughter.
Meanwhile, Mhairi and Ruaridh have been off adventuring in India for a month, soaking up the sun and no doubt gathering some great stories. They’re back now and ready to dive into another busy season.

We’re delighted to welcome back some familiar faces for the season ahead!

👨🍳 Scott France – Back in the kitchen, ready to whip up some delicious dishes.

⚓ Erain – Our Pontoons Queen, keeping the marina shipshape.
🍹 Chelsea – The gin & cocktail genius of the Waypoint.
💁♀️ Michelle – Providing excellent service in the Waypoint.
🍷 Zoe & Petra – Our brilliant Waypoint waitresses.
We’re also hoping to see guest appearances from Sam and Emma, and this year, we’re excited to welcome some of Kerrera’s teenagers to the team for the first time – they may be a bit feral, but we promise they scrub up well!
