About us

kerrera food guide

Local produce, farm to fork culture, The Waypoint Bar & Restaurant, tea rooms and shopping for essentials. Our little Island has everything you need to keep the adventure going.

THE WAYPOINT

Our very own bar and restaurant with views over the bay.

Breakfast at Kerrera Marina means coffee, croissants, cakes and fresh bread during the busy season, all on an honesty box system. Just come up and help yourselves! Come lunch time we will have our grill open, offering fresh seafood snacks and amazing steak sandwiches to keep you fuelled for the afternoon’s adventure.

In the evening, we have a changing menu with local produce at the heart of everything.

THE TEA GARDEN

The perfect lunch stop or mid-afternoon treat. Kerrera tea garden is at the South end of the Island and is open for takeaways Wednesday to Sunday throughout the season. They offer a select but delicious menu of soup, a sandwich and a special with a variety of cakes that make the adventure to get to them completely worthwhile!

BALLIEMORE FARM

Home baking, ice cream and our own produce.

If you are planning on cooking on the boat, why not take a stroll to pick up a pack of our gorgeous sausages, some tender steaks or some mutton chops to take back to the boat and cook. We also sell the best ice cream in the world (big boast but we’re going to stand by it!) and some other gorgeous wee titbits that might just grab your fancy.

Balliemore Farm is our farm, so when we’re not at Kerrera Marina you’ll find us here. Come and speak to us to learn more about how we run the farm and meet the animals!

Ardentrive farm shop

Local produce, milk, cheese and basic essentials.

Arrived on Kerrera and can’t bear the thought of a supermarket shop? Pop up to Ardentrive farm shop, a few minutes walk from Kerrera Marina. There will be the makings of some delicious meals here – in fact you might get away with avoiding the supermarkets all together!
